About
Melissa Tinambacan is a Filipino-Canadian documentary filmmaker based in Utah, finishing her undergraduate studies in Media Arts at Brigham Young University. As a filmmaker, Melissa is passionate about empathetic and aesthetic storytelling and seeks to expand the boundaries of nonfiction as an art form. Her work in documentary explores community and identity. Melissa is a 2024 NBCU Original Voices Accelerator fellow.
